Accommodation
Sleeping We have four double bedrooms. Bedroom 1 has a superking size bed and overlooks the garden. Bedroom 2 has a king sized bed and is triple aspect with views towards the bay and the surrounding garden. Bedrooms 3 and 4 have pairs of single beds and both have magnificent views of the sea. All bedrooms are large enough for a travel cot which we have at the cottage. We have two shower rooms and one bathroom bathrooms plus a washing machine and tumble dryer.
NB. WE DO NOT PROVIDE BED LINEN OR TOWELS. ALL BEDS HAVE DUVETS AND PILLOWS READY FOR YOUR COVERS.
Relaxing Our sitting room amply accommodates everyone and has a stunning view of the sea and Newport Bay. It is a lovely, sunny space in summer and cosy in the winter with an open fire for chillier evenings. There are 2 large sofas, easy chairs a large games table. There is a television and we have Broadband internet access.
Eating The kitchen and dining room has good access to the garden and views of the sea for those preparing meals. The dining table seats eight. There is a dishwasher, double oven, electric hob and microwave.
TV & Internet The living room has a television and the house has broadband Wi-Fi (fibre is on its way).
Laundry Washing and drying machines are located in one of the shower rooms and there is a clothes line in the garden.
One dog or cat is welcome. We make a small charge for this. We also ask that you are keep your dog off beds and sofas and please make sure it is cleaned of mud and sand before allowing them into the cottage. There is a hose outside the front door to clean them. Please be aware that while the garden is enclosed and the field fenced, pets can find a way out (ours does!). We are surrounded by fields, many with animal stock. Dogs do not need to be kept on a lead at Newport’s beach so it is a perfect place for them to be exercised.
Garden The garden is large, with views towards the sea and the Preseli Mountains. The trampoline in the paddock should only be used by children with adult supervision and it’s used is at your own risk. There are gates between the garden and paddock which leads directly down to the coastal path and the sea. There is parking for 3 cars.
